Designed for aspiring writers, an MFA in Creative Writing empowers you to enhance your creativity, while sharing and developing your work within a supportive academic community. Through workshops, residencies, and literary courses, you'll receive feedback from your peers and professors, gain insight about the world of professional writing, and work toward creating a publishable product.
Examples of marginalized backgrounds or experiences include full or partial paralysis, pediatric cancer, disability resulting from military service, cystic fibrosis or other severe long term medical condition/disability, terminal Illness, recovery from drug or alcohol abuse, homelessness, foster care, and food insecurity. The scholarship is reserved for incoming Drexel University Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing students only. The scholarship covers full tuition and fees at Drexel University.
