The Driven at Heart Scholarship Contest, presented by Cousins Subs in partnership with Donald Driver, awards scholarships to Wisconsin high school senior athletes who excel in academics, sports leadership, and community involvement. This scholarship provides an opportunity for student-athletes to win up to $7,500 for their continuing education while being recognized at the prestigious Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Scholarship Details
- First Place Prize: $7,500 scholarship awarded to one male and one female athlete
- Runner-Up Prize: $2,500 scholarship awarded to one male and one female athlete
- Four finalists will be selected by the Make It Better Foundation Committee, Donald Driver, and representatives from the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame by the end of April
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Wisconsin high school senior graduating in 2025
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Must participate in a WIAA-sanctioned sport
- Must demonstrate involvement in civic and/or community organizations or activities
Application Process

- Complete and submit the online application by 11:59 PM CST on February 28th
- If mailing an application, ensure it is postmarked by February 28th to be considered
- Event Requirement: Finalists must attend the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame 75th Anniversary Induction Ceremony
- Each finalist receives a $100 travel stipend and hotel accommodations for themselves and up to two adult family members
Four finalists will receive a once-in-a-lifetime VIP scholarship experience to the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame 75th Anniversary Induction Ceremony, hosted by Donald Driver, in Milwaukee on Thursday, July 24th. The four finalists will meet Driver and be recognized on stage during the ceremony.
