The Ecolab Scholarship was established by Ecolab in 1996 as a commitment to the lodging industry and to support the development of its future leaders. To date, more than $500,000 has been awarded to over 350 hospitality management students.
Scholarship Details
- Administered through the AHLA Foundation Scholarship Program
- Over $500,000 awarded to more than 350 hospitality management students since inception
- Annual award amounts: $2,000 for baccalaureate students and $1,000 for associate degree students
- Scholarship funds support full-time students enrolled in hospitality-related programs during both fall and spring semesters
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credit hours per semester)
- Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in a hospitality-related field
- Must be enrolled for both the fall and spring semesters
- Must maintain a minimum overall GPA of 2.0
Application Process
- Verify GPA meets the minimum 2.0 requirement
- Complete the AHLA Foundation Scholarship Application online
- Indicate interest in being considered for the Ecolab Scholarship during the application process
- Submit all required materials before the published deadline
Ecolab Scholarships are self-nominated, which means students do not have to be attending a particular school or be nominated by their respective schools. Applicants must complete the AHLA Foundation Scholarship Application in full in order to be eligible.
