The Edison Park Community Council is proud to present the Edison Park Community Council Scholarship to an Edison Park student and resident who will be attending an accredited college, university, or trade school in the upcoming fall. To be eligible, applicants must: be 21 years of age or younger, a high school senior, college freshman, or first year trade school student; and not be the child of a current director or officer of the Edison Park Community Council. The maximum dollar amounts and number of recipients will vary.
In addition to completing the application, applicants must also submit: a copy of the applicant’s driver’s license or state identification card; a completed personal reference form or a formal recommendation letter; a copy of an acceptance letter from an accredited college, university, or trade school reflecting the applicant’s acceptance into a program of study beginning in the upcoming fall; and a 500-word essay on an assigned topic (essay will be judged on: best expression of personal experience; and style, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and composition).
