The Environmental Engineering and Science Foundation (EESF) has created annual scholarships for students majoring in Environmental Engineering and Environmental Science at the Master's level. Five scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each are offered to students completing programs at four-year institutions who will be entering a graduate program to complete a Master's Degree either in Environmental Engineering or related field of engineering or Environmental Science or related field (as discussed in the FAQs). These scholarships are based on academic performance.
Scholarship Details
- Five scholarships of $2,500 each for students entering accredited graduate programs in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
- Three scholarships of $2,500 each specifically for URM students entering the same fields.
- Based on academic performance and acceptance into a graduate program.
Eligibility Criteria
- Completion of an undergraduate degree at an accredited four-year institution.
- Accepted into an accredited graduate program in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science or related fields.
- For URM scholarships: Self-identification as American Indian/Alaska Native, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, or Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander, including those with two or more affiliations if one is among these groups.
Application Process
- Verify eligibility and prepare academic transcripts and proof of acceptance into a graduate program.
- Complete the scholarship application, including a section on academic performance and intended field of study.
- For URM scholarships, include self-identification and any relevant supporting documentation.
EESF Master's Degree Scholarships in Environmental Engineering and Science Scholarship funds may only be used for university/college billed expenses such as tuition.
