Scholarship Details
- Open to women pursuing accounting degrees at the bachelor’s level, including double majors
- Horizons Scholarship offers up to $5,000 per year for up to two years
- EFWA Undergraduate Scholarship provides up to $1,500 as a one-time award
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need through FAFSA documentation
- Applicants must attend an AACSB accredited college or university
- Applicants must be US citizens, except for the EFWA Global Undergraduate Scholarship
- Application period opens January 23 and closes March 30
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a woman
- Must demonstrate financial need and provide FAFSA submission confirmation
- Must be pursuing an accounting degree program
- Must attend an AACSB accredited institution
- For Horizons Scholarship, must be the primary source of support for her family
- For Horizons Scholarship, must be within approximately 60 credit hours of completing the degree
- For renewal, must show continued progress toward an accounting degree
- For renewal, must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0
