Scholarship Description

The scholarship fund will accept applications from November 1st through April 30th each year, although the scholarship application is available to download at any time. The family of Elaine Chapin has determined that the scholarship fund will be awarding several scholarships each school year to deserving students.

Recipients will be chosen on the basis of financial need, academic standing and/or the impact with which multiple sclerosis has affected their lives. Applicants must be citizens of the United States who plan to enroll or are enrolled at an accredited college, university, vocational or technical school located in the United States. Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester in course work leading to a degree, license or certificate. Applicants must reside within a 300 mile radius of our offices in St. Louis and proof of that residency will be required and checked out if you are selected as a scholarship recipient.
