Firm Foundation is about preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and teaching the Bible. We engage in various activities to be a blessing to the community as a response to the great gifts that we have received from God.
Scholarship Details
- Three scholarships awarded annually
- $1,000 awarded to each selected recipient
- Available to Woonsocket residents beginning college in the coming Fall
- Funds are disbursed directly to the college of the recipient’s choice
Eligibility Criteria
- Resident of Woonsocket
- Beginning college in the coming Fall
- Demonstrates involvement in community, school, and church activities
- Willing to provide one academic reference
- Willing to provide one Christian reference such as a church leader or teacher
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application with personal, academic, and contact information
- List future plans, intended college, and community and school involvement
- Submit one academic reference and one Christian reference
- Write and submit a 200 word or fewer essay on the prompt provided
- Email the completed application by April 15th
Applications will be made available in paper copy in suitable places, and will also be available on our scholarship website page. The top five candidates will be scheduled for a very brief interview between April 15th and April 30th and three will be selected as scholarship
recipients.
