The FITBODY Pink™ Breast Cancer Family Scholarship supports college-bound students whose families have been impacted by breast cancer and whose experiences have helped shape their perspective, character, and goals as they prepare for higher education.
Scholarship Details
- Recognizes students whose immediate family has been affected by breast cancer
- One recipient receives $1,000
- Two runner-up recipients receive $500 each
- Total annual scholarship awards equal $2,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a graduating high school senior
- Must be accepted to an accredited college or university
- Must have an immediate family member, such as a parent or guardian, impacted by breast cancer at any time
- Must demonstrate responsibility through academics, school involvement, community service, or leadership
Application Process
- Confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements as a graduating senior accepted to college
- Prepare a thoughtful reflection describing how your family’s experience with breast cancer influenced your outlook on education and future goals
- Highlight examples of resilience, leadership, responsibility, and personal growth
- Complete the full scholarship application according to the program’s instructions
- Submit all required materials by the stated deadline for consideration
This scholarship recognizes that a breast cancer diagnosis often affects the entire family—emotionally, financially, and logistically—during a pivotal stage in a student’s life. Our goal is to support students who have shown resilience, taken on added responsibility, and continued moving forward academically while navigating family challenges.
