Scholarship Description

To be awarded the Flinn Scholarship, an applicant must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder) by the time of the application, and be an Arizona resident for two full years immediately preceding entry to the university. As a general rule, Flinn Scholarship applicants should also have a 3.5 GPA, rank in the top 5 percent of their graduating class (if the school reports class rank), participate and demonstrate leadership in a variety of extracurricular activities and must submit SAT or ACT scores (there is no minimum score needed to apply). Applications run from mid-September until the due date.

The Flinn Scholarship Program provides an unparalleled package for undergraduate study at an Arizona public university for Arizona's highest-achieving high school seniors each year. Flinn Scholars, who can attend Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, or University of Arizona, also benefit from working with top faculty and researchers, meeting business and civic leaders in their field, and forming their own community and alumni network.
