Scholarship Details
- Sponsored by the Florida Engineering Society
- Supports graduating Florida high school seniors pursuing engineering degrees
- Recipients must enroll in an engineering program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET
- Selection is based on academic achievement, standardized test scores, and application materials
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a graduating high school senior
- Must have completed at least one semester and graduate from a Florida high school
- Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident at the time of application
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Must meet the minimum SAT or ACT score requirements established by the scholarship program
- Must enroll in an ABET-accredited engineering program to receive the scholarship
Application Process
- Download and complete the Florida Engineering Society High School Scholarship Application
- Complete the required Excel application and certification forms
- Obtain certified high school and college transcripts if applicable
- Submit the signed applicant and counselor or principal certification forms
- Provide official AP, IB, or AICE examination results, if applicable
- Submit the completed application package through the online scholarship submission form by February 15th
- If electronic transcripts are unavailable, ensure certified hard-copy transcripts are postmarked by the application deadline

Established in 1986, FEF is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit entity whose mission is to encourage and assist students in pursuing engineering careers and to educate the public about engineering.
