Scholarship Description

The Fort Worth Scottish Rite Foundation, Inc. (the “Foundation”) is pleased to announce its Scholarship Program. Each scholarship is Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500). Five (5) of the scholarships are reserved for students who will be seeking an Associate Degree at a community college, sometimes known as junior college.

Scholarship Details

  • Each scholarship award is $2,500
  • Scholarships honor scholastic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and community dedication
  • Five scholarships are reserved for students pursuing an associate degree at a community or junior college
  • Funds are awarded in accordance with Foundation terms and paid to the institution designated by the student
  • Program is administered by the Fort Worth Scottish Rite Foundation

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a graduating senior from an eligible public high school or secondary school
  • Students from home schooling, virtual schools, or private schools are not eligible
  • Must be a United States citizen
  • Must demonstrate academic achievement, extracurricular participation, and community involvement

Application Process

  1. Complete all required questions on the scholarship application pages
  2. Prepare an application package including transcript, SAT or ACT scores, two academic references, and two personal references
  3. Ensure all documents display only the last four digits of the Social Security number
  4. Assemble the application materials in the required order without folders, staples, or covers
  5. Make five additional copies of the complete application package
  6. Submit all six sets together in a single envelope or parcel by February 20th
