The Fox Pest Control Future Leaders Scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate leadership, community involvement, and a commitment to making a positive difference. The selected winner receives a $5,000 scholarship and chooses an eligible nonprofit organization to receive an additional $2,500 charitable donation from Fox Pest Control. Applicants must demonstrate their leadership and service through an essay and a summary of their community involvement.
Scholarship Details
- The winner receives a $5,000 scholarship
- An additional $2,500 donation will be made to an eligible charitable organization selected by the winner
- The selected charity must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in good standing and have a reasonable rating from an independent review organization
- Applicants must submit a 500-1,000-word essay about leadership and community involvement
- Applicants must also provide information about their volunteer work and community service
- Applications are due September 30th at 11:59 p.m. MT
- The winner is scheduled to be announced November 1st
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- Must be currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year college program and taking at least 12 credit hours or be accepted to a two-year or four-year program for the Spring 2027 semester
- Must permanently reside in Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, or Washington
- Must provide a Spring or Fall class schedule upon request
- Employees and certain family or household members of Fox Pest Control and other Contest Entities are not eligible
Application Process
- Complete the Fox Pest Control Future Leaders Scholarship application form.
- Write a 500-1,000-word essay explaining what leadership means to you and how you have demonstrated leadership through your actions in your community.
- Select either Extreme Ownership or Lift Where You Stand and explain how that Fox Pest Control core value has influenced your leadership journey.
- Provide real-life examples of leadership, personal growth, and the impact you have made on others.
- Submit a summary describing your volunteer work or service activities, their impact on your community, and why community service is important to you.
- Submit the completed application and required materials by September 30th at 11:59 p.m. MT.
