The Educated Eats scholarships, offered by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington Education Foundation (RAMW-EF), are designed to assist individuals pursuing careers in the foodservice and culinary industries. Scholarships up to $5,000 are available for high school students, college students, and those currently working in the restaurant industry who are committed to continuing their education in the field.
Scholarship Details
- Up to $5,000 in scholarships, with half paid in the first semester and half in the second semester

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan area
- Must be accepted into a full-time culinary or hospitality-related post-secondary program, with plans to enroll for at least four semesters
- Must be currently enrolled in or have graduated from a high school with a quality culinary education program, or have at least 400 hours of restaurant/foodservice work or internship experience (proof required)
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale or be in the top one-third of the class

- Submit documentation of restaurant/foodservice work or internship experience, including a letter from the employer or mentor
