The Education Advancement Scholarship is administered by Beyond Housing Foundation and is designated to support the efforts of Fresno Housing residents working to attain higher education or participate in workforce training programs. The scholarship awards will be paid in one increment, no later than the Fall Semester of the academic year.
Scholarship Details

- Open to students enrolled in accredited junior colleges, community colleges, state colleges, adult schools, vocational programs, or other accredited institutions
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Fresno Housing resident or receiving housing assistance from Fresno Housing
- Must be seeking higher education or enrolled in a workforce training program
- Dual-enrolled high school and college students are eligible
- Must be enrolled in a state-accredited or otherwise accredited institution
- Must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
Application Process
- Complete the Education Advancement Scholarship Program application online
- Upload a current transcript showing your name and academic term
- Submit proof of registration from your school or training program
- Include one letter of recommendation
- Provide a personal statement
- Name each uploaded file using the format FirstName_LastName_DocumentType
- Ensure all required attachments are submitted before April 1st
