The Frito-Lay Community Builders Scholarship is an initiative aimed at recognizing and empowering young leaders committed to making a positive impact on their communities. Frito-Lay, a brand synonymous with quality and community engagement, is set to award four students $25,000 each to support their higher education goals.
Note: The scholarship will be open until November 20th or until 500 applications have been received.
Application Requirements:
• Prompt Response:
In addition to standard application requirements, students are asked to respond to a prompt highlighting how they contribute to their communities and the impact on their higher education path.
• Demonstrated Leadership:
Students are encouraged to showcase their demonstrated leadership skills, participation in extracurricular activities, work experience, and personal and professional goals.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must:
• Residency:
Live in the United States (U.S.).
• Academic Status:
Be high school seniors, graduates, or current college undergraduates.
• Educational Plans:
Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study in the U.S. at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
• Academic Performance:
Maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).

Diverse Judging Panel:
A diverse group of Frito-Lay employees, including frontline workers, employee resource group leaders, and executives, will make up the judging panel. Each member of the panel is uniquely committed to community building.
Award Notification:
All applicants will be notified of their award status by January 30.
