In order to apply for the HANA Scholars program, applicants must be of Hispanic, Asian, and/or Native American ethnicity, and be a college junior or higher (including the doctorate level). Students must also have a minimum three-year membership in the UMC and a minimum 2.85 GPA.
The GBHEM scholarship application opens in the early Winter of each year. You can only submit one application per year where it will be screened for all possible eligible programs. You may indicate on the first page of the scholarship application which of the below listed programs you would most like to be considered for. Scholarship programs are divided into three categories: General Scholarships, Racial-Ethnic Scholarships, and Ministry as a Career Scholarships.
