Wentworth Institute of Science and Health (W.I.S.H.), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and developing scientists, fosters early interest in STEM by providing educational initiatives, guest speakers, and grade-appropriate project kits to K-12 schools, after-school programs, and community organizations.
Scholarship Details
- Open to high school seniors in Georgia
- Funds can be used for tuition, books, or other educational expenses
- Scholarships are supported by local community fundraising efforts
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a graduating high school senior
- Must be a resident of Georgia
- Interest in pursuing a career in a STEM-related field is preferred
Application Process
- Complete the online application form on the W.I.S.H. website
- Provide a transcript showing academic performance
- Submit a personal statement describing your interest in STEM and how you plan to contribute to the field
- Submit any supporting materials (letters of recommendation, volunteer work, etc.)
W.I.S.H. also provides a platform through our podcast Mentor Talks: STEM Podcast! for individuals in STEM to share their work, passions, and personal journeys. Participating as a guest is a prerequisite for inclusion on our regularly scheduled speaker list or serving as a mentor to one of our graduating high school seniors.
