Scholarships are awarded to nursing students with California residency who demonstrate the strong desire to promote the nursing profession through excellence in their studies, devotion to patient care and advancement of the nursing profession. There are three categories, two scholarships of $500 each will be awarded in each category: Bachelor Degree in Nursing; Master’s Entry Program Nursing (MEPN) or Entry-Level Master’s (ELM); and Advanced degree – Masters, Doctorate, PhD.
Applicants must be attending or be accepted to an accredited nursing school program for one of the following: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing – a BSN program; Master’s Entry Program Nursing (MEPN) or Entry-Level Master’s (ELM); Advanced Degree – Master’s, Doctorate: must have their RN license and be attending or accepted to a professionally accredited master’s or doctorate program in nursing. Only applications including two Letters of Recommendation received by the due date will be considered.
