The Good Tidings Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) children's charity, is dedicated to uplifting marginalized children in the Bay Area. Our mission is to create spaces for athletics, artistic activities, education, and wonder, offering opportunities for growth that transcend financial status, ethnic origin, or religion. The $10,000 scholarship check will be dispersed evenly over the course of 4 years. Winners will be notified by November 27th. A total of 10 applicants will be accepted to receive this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria
- High school senior.
- Must be a resident of one of the following California counties:
- Alameda
- Contra Costa
- Lake
- Marin
- Monterey
- Napa
- Sacramento
- San Benito
- San Francisco
- San Joaquin
- San Mateo
- Santa Cruz
- Santa Clara
- Solano
- Sonoma
- Stanislaus
- Yolo
- Must volunteer a minimum of 1 shift (approximately 2-4 hours) for the Good Tidings' Winter Wonderland Toy Giveaway Program in Burlingame, CA (December 9-19).
Selection Criteria
- Scholarships are awarded based on service and financial need.
- A letter of recommendation is required and must be submitted by the application deadline.
Application Process
- Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for residency, education plans, and volunteer requirements.
- Complete the scholarship application by the deadline of November 8.
- Submit a letter of recommendation along with your application.
- Be prepared to volunteer at least one shift for the Winter Wonderland Toy Giveaway Program in December.
- Winners will be notified by November 27.
