The Great Khalid Foundation Performing Arts Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded to high school seniors pursuing higher education in a performing arts program. Students are recognized for their academic achievements and artistic ability. Since its inception, The Great Khalid Foundation has awarded $120,000 in scholarships.
Scholarship Details
- Award amount is $10,000
- Scholarship applies to tuition expenses for the coming academic year
- Funds are sent directly to the student’s college or university
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a high school senior
- Must have a minimum 3.5 GPA (high school transcript required)
- Must be accepted into a performing arts college or university program (proof required)
Application Process
- Prepare and submit your official high school transcript showing a GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Obtain and upload your acceptance letter or verification from a performing arts college or university
- Record and submit your performance via a YouTube video link
- Write and attach your essay explaining your passion and goals in the performing arts
- Complete the scholarship application form and submit all required materials between January 15 and April 18th
Scholarship recipients will be awarded $10,000.00 to be applied toward tuition expenses for the upcoming academic school year. Funds will be transferred directly to the educational institution on the students behalf.
