Because of this, the Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational students. Since awarding our first $500 scholarship in 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has awarded more than $8 million in scholarships. To be eligible for the Handley School Foundation Alumni Scholarship, applicants must: have attended Handley School for a minimum of five years; be a high school senior; be enrolled full-time to pursue an undergraduate degree; shown concern for others through his/her involvement in community volunteer service; and return to Handley and share some aspect of their high school career and/or their experience at Handley School with either a grade level or individual classroom.
