The Harriet Fitzgerald Scholarship in the amount of $10,000 for the coming academic year will be awarded to a woman who will begin attending an undergraduate women’s college in the United States or Canada in the Fall 2026 term.
Scholarship Details
- $10,000 scholarship for the coming academic year
- Awarded to a woman enrolling at an undergraduate women’s college
- College may be located in the United States or Canada
- Funds are paid directly to the college each term after enrollment verification
- Scholarship is awarded for one year with the possibility of renewal
Eligibility Criteria
- Must identify as a woman
- Must be beginning undergraduate study in the coming Fall
- Must attend an undergraduate women’s college in the United States or Canada
- Must demonstrate strong academic performance
Application Process
- Complete and submit the scholarship application by February 1st at 11:59 pm EST
- Arrange for confidential letters of recommendation to be uploaded by recommenders
- Ensure high school transcripts are uploaded by a counselor or registrar
- Submit official standardized test score reports as required
- Participate in finalist interviews if selected in March
- Await notification of scholarship decisions in early April
