HBCU Connect is excited to introduce the HBCU CONNECT Minority Scholarship Program specifically designed for HBCU students. This initiative is committed to offering several scholarships each valued at $2,750 to minority students who are either currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a Historically Black College or University. The scholarship aims to assist with tuition or book expenses for the semester when the funds are awarded, generally within three weeks of the application deadline.
Scholarship Details
- Scholarship Deadlines: April 15th.
- Each scholarship is worth $2,750, applicable towards tuition or books.
- Funds are awarded typically within 3 weeks of the submission date.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be currently enrolled or planning to enroll at an HBCU within 6 months of the submission deadline.
- Open to Graduating High School Seniors, Transfer students, and Current HBCU students with proof of enrollment required.
Application Process
- Create and Submit an Essay -OR- a YouTube Video answering the following questions:
- Why did you choose to attend an HBCU?
- How will attending the specific HBCU you attend help you meet your future goals in life personally and professionally?
- Subscribe to our YouTube Channel for updates.
- Ensure to use a valid, active email address for application notifications.
