Heidelberg University is always looking for students who share a genuine commitment to our core values—pursuit of excellence, personal responsibility and integrity, purposeful experience, and a joy of learning and discovery. Heidelberg students want to do more than just succeed: they want to thrive. The Office of Financial Aid administers a comprehensive program of scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study aimed at helping students bridge the gap between their family's resources and the cost of attending Heidelberg.
Heidelberg scholarships and grants are awarded to first-year students and based on seventh semester high school GPA and standardized tests taken in or before February. In order to qualify for the Heidelberg University Out Of State Grant, applicants must be either first-time freshmen or transfer students, planning to attend Heidelberg University, who are not Ohio state residents. This grant is renewable for four years as long as the student is making satisfactory academic progress.
