The Helen and L.S. Wong Memorial Scholarship was established by a private donor in honor of the donor's parents, Helen and L.S. Wong, to provide educational opportunities for students of Asian heritage from Fairfield and Suisun, California.
Scholarship Details
- Award amount: $1,000–$3,000
- In honor of Helen and L.S. Wong, Fairfield-Suisun community members
- Application deadline: March 27th at 11:59 p.m.
Eligibility Criteria
- Rising freshman enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college/university or a community college intending to transfer to a four-year institution
- Resident of Fairfield or Suisun, CA, or a graduating senior from a high school in Fairfield or Suisun
- Minimum GPA: 2.8
- Must demonstrate financial need
- At least 50% Asian heritage
Application Process
- Visit the Asian Pacific Fund website to access the application form
- Complete the application with all required personal, academic, and financial details
- Prepare and upload supporting documents, such as academic transcripts and proof of financial need
- Submit the application by the deadline
Five to ten finalists will be selected. Finalists must submit official transcript(s), FAFSA submission summary (formerly the Student Aid Report), and SAT/ACT scores if available.
