The HEEF Scholarship Program offers support to Hispanic heritage students who are first-generation college students and planning to enroll full-time at a four-year college or university. Applicants must be residents of Orange County, California, for the past three years and demonstrate financial need through the completion of a FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application. Undocumented students are welcome to apply.

Since 1993, HEEF has awarded over $3.8 million in scholarships to 2,700 outstanding Orange County Hispanic students. With a mission to improve access to higher education for OC Hispanic/Latino students, HEEF serves US Citizens, Permanent Residents and Dream Act/ AB 540 students who live in Orange County, California only. HEEF prioritizes low-income students who are part of the first-generation in their families to attend college.
