The Hoffman Law Firm is offering three $1,000 scholarships to college students who have been involved in agriculture whether it was through a job, family business, volunteering, school club, etc., and are wishing to pursue a degree/career in the agriculture field. The Hoffman Law Firm aims to support and empower young, hard-working students who share the same passion and values as Madison Marsh.
Scholarship Details
- Three scholarships of $1,000 each
- Honors the life and legacy of Madison Marsh
- Supports students pursuing agriculture-related degrees and careers
- Applicants must demonstrate a background in agriculture through work, family, volunteering, or school clubs
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have an interest in pursuing a degree/career in the agriculture field
- Must have agricultural experience (farm, ranch, agribusiness, school organizations, or volunteer work)
- Must be planning to attend or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Must hold U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- Must be at least 17 years old at the time of application
Application Process
- Prepare proof of enrollment at an accredited university (class schedule, acceptance letter, or transcript)
- Write a 500-word essay responding to the following prompts:
- How has your experience with agriculture influenced your decision to pursue a career in this field?
- How has your work experience contributed to your work ethic and leadership skills?
- What makes you passionate about agriculture?
- Elaborate on your degree and why you chose it
- Submit your essay and enrollment documentation according to the official application instructions
