Scholarship Description

The Hope for Tomorrow Scholarship, offered by the Agape Eye Foundation, supports students pursuing degrees in the medical and health-related fields who demonstrate financial need, strong character, and a commitment to serving their communities. This scholarship reflects our belief that medicine is both a science and a calling to compassionate service. Award funds may be used toward tuition, academic materials, and other approved educational costs. A total of $25,000 is awarded annually to five students.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a U.S. resident enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Open to undergraduate students (sophomore through senior) and graduate-level students
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Field of study must be medical or health-related (such as medicine, nursing, physician assistant, optometry, public health, biomedical sciences, or allied health disciplines)
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Demonstrated community service, civic engagement, or leadership is preferred
  • Open to all genders, races, and religious backgrounds
  • U.S. citizenship not required, but U.S. residency is required

Application Process

  1. Complete the online application form on the Agape Eye Foundation website
  2. Write and submit a personal statement responding to the essay prompt provided
  3. Upload an unofficial transcript from your current academic program
  4. Request and submit one letter of recommendation from an academic or community leader
  5. Submit all required materials through the online system
