Scholarship Details

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled full-time as a high school senior in the United States
- Must plan to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at a Horatio Alger partner college immediately after graduation
- Must demonstrate critical financial need with a family adjusted gross income of $65,000 or lower
- Must show integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0
- Must be a United States citizen
Application Process
- Visit the Horatio Alger Association website to access the online scholarship application
- Complete the application with your personal, academic, and financial information
- Upload all required supporting materials, including transcripts and proof of financial need
- Submit your completed application online by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on March 1st
By filling out one application, you will be considered for all scholarships for which you are eligible, except for some
Specialized Scholarships. The Horatio Alger Association’s scholarships are funded through the generosity of the Association’s Members, Life Partners, Legacy Ambassadors, and Friends of the Association.
