Our affiliated Hospitality Education Foundation offers scholarships to eligible students up to $8,000 towards higher education in an accredited hospitality program at the University of New Orleans and Delgado Community College.
Scholarship Details
- Supports students pursuing hospitality or related fields
- Offered to students accepted to or enrolled at the University of New Orleans or Delgado Community College
- Focuses on fostering leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
- Application packet must be postmarked no later than the deadline
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have an overall minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.5
- Must be a high school junior or senior in one of the following parishes: Orleans, Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, Iberville, Tangipahoa, or St. James
- Must enroll in hospitality or a related field
- Must be accepted to or enrolled at the University of New Orleans or Delgado Community College
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, teamwork, and effective communication skills in a paid or volunteer position
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application form
- Provide documentation demonstrating your GPA and acceptance to or enrollment in an eligible program
- Answer application questions showcasing your attitude, teamwork, and communication skills
- Ensure the application packet is complete and postmarked no later than the deadline
- Mail the application packet to the specified address
Students must demonstrate in their application answers a positive attitude, teamwork, and effective communication skills in either a paid or volunteer position, either in school, your community, or a job. Scholarship applicant must intend to enroll to study Hospitality at either Delgado Community College or The University of New Orleans.
