Scholarship Description

The HUSTLE Hearts Foundation supports outstanding Latino students with college scholarships, while empowering students to be trailblazers and make an impact in their community.

Scholarship Details

  • Three scholarships awarded annually: two for $1,000 and one for $500
  • Scholarship funds distributed to the recipient's college by August 22nd
  • Recipients will be honored at a recognition event in December

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale for high school students
  • Must be a current high school student or recent graduate starting their freshman year
  • Must plan to enroll full-time in an accredited 4-year university or community college in Arizona in the fall
  • Must be a first-generation college student
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, DACA recipient, or Eligible Non-Citizen (as defined by FAFSA)
  • Arizona residency not required, but applicants must attend college in Arizona

Application Process

  1. Complete and submit the HUSTLE Hearts Foundation Scholarship application form
  2. Attach your high school transcript
  3. Submit two letters of recommendation
  4. Include a current resume detailing academic and extracurricular achievements
  5. Write and submit a 250-word (or fewer) essay on your personal career goals
  6. Ensure all application materials are received by the July 31st deadline
