The IFMA Foundation scholarship program awards scholarships that are awarded to undergraduate and graduate students that are enrolled in facility management or facility management-related programs (FM related programs include, but are not limited to, construction management, architecture, interior design and some engineering disciplines). Working students and veterans are encouraged to apply.
Scholarship Details
- Scholarships range in value from $1,500 to $10,000
- Open to undergraduate (2-year and 4-year) and graduate students
- Includes fully subsidized attendance to the IFMA World Workplace Conference in Minneapolis, MN
- Recipients must participate in IFMA Foundation activities at the conference
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled at an accredited institution in a Facility Management or FM-related program
- Must be pursuing an Associate, Bachelor’s, or Graduate degree as defined by the institution
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 in FM or related coursework (international equivalents accepted)
- Working students are encouraged to apply
Application Process
- Ensure enrollment in an accredited FM or related degree program
- Verify a GPA of 3.2 or higher in FM or related courses
- Gather required academic documentation, including international grade equivalencies if applicable
- Complete the scholarship application form provided by the IFMA Foundation
- Submit the application before the posted deadline
- If selected, confirm participation in the IFMA World Workplace Conference and related activities
Applicants awarded a scholarship are required to attend IFMA’s World Workplace Conference and Expo and participate in the IFMA Foundation activities. Working students and veterans are encouraged to apply. Students from all parts of the world are invited to apply.
