Scholarship Description

The IGNITE Impact Challenge is a national video competition that invites participants to share how Public Law 119-21, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, is affecting individuals, families, and communities across the United States. If you're passionate about affordable healthcare, climate change, immigration rights, student loans, or taxes, we know you have thoughts! That's why we've teamed up with the Bigglesworth Family Foundation to launch this video challenge.

Scholarship Details

  • National short-form video competition
  • Fifteen winners will receive awards
  • First-place winners receive $5,000
  • Categories include SNAP and Medicaid Impacts, Student Loan Impacts, Immigration and Border Impacts, Energy and Climate Impacts, and Tax Impacts
  • Winning videos will be recognized at the Games for Change Festival in New York City

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a United States citizen
  • Must be at least 18 years old at the time of submission
  • May participate individually or as part of a team
  • Teams must consist of two to five eligible participants
  • Must submit original work created by the participant or team
  • Videos must be submitted in MP4 format
  • Videos must be between one and five minutes in length

Application Process

  1. Select one of the eligible competition categories
  2. Create an original video explaining how Public Law 119-21 affects you, your family, or your community
  3. Ensure the video is between one and five minutes in length
  4. Save the completed project in MP4 format
  5. Complete the competition application and provide all required information
  6. Submit the video and application materials before June 26th
