Each year the Chickasaw Nation awards this scholarship to one male and one female graduating high school senior (awarded one time only). The students must be attending a school with a Johnson-O’Malley (JOM) program within the Chickasaw Nation. Applicants must submit one letter of recommendation and a 500-word essay by Sept. 15.
Scholarship Details
- Awarded to one male and one female graduating high school senior
- One-time scholarship for students in schools with a Johnson-O’Malley (JOM) program within the Chickasaw Nation
- Fee Assistance Grant available for students taking three or more credit hours and maintaining a minimum 2.0 GPA each semester
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a graduating high school senior attending a school with a JOM program within the Chickasaw Nation (for the scholarship)
- Chickasaw students taking three or more credit hours each term with a minimum 2.0 GPA (for the Fee Assistance Grant)
Application Process
- Submit one letter of recommendation
- Write and submit a 500-word essay by Sept. 15 (for the scholarship)
- Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA or higher each semester (for the Fee Assistance Grant)
