Scholarship Description

The Illowa Chapter of ISACA has established a scholarship fund to provide financial assistance to those interested in pursuing educational opportunities in the field of information systems/technology (IS/IT), computer sciences, cybersecurity, or related studies.

Scholarship Details

  • Two individual scholarships of $1,000 each
  • Awarded to undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Scholarship funds are made payable in the name of the recipient
  • Can be used for part-time or full-time programs
  • Supports enrollment at an accredited community college or university in the Eastern Iowa or Western Illinois regions

Eligibility Criteria

  • Pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in IS/IT, computer sciences, cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Enrolled for the current academic year
  • Enrolled at an accredited institution in Eastern Iowa or Western Illinois
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale
  • Open to all students, including international students, without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin

Application Process

  1. Complete the scholarship application form.
  2. Prepare supporting documentation, including:
    • Proof of enrollment in an accredited program.
    • Academic transcripts verifying GPA.
  3. Submit your completed application and supporting documents electronically to the Illowa Chapter Scholarship Committee at Illowa ISACA.
  4. Ensure your application is submitted no later than 11:59 PM US Central on December 13th.
