ISF starts accepting applications in December for a period of 4 months. The deadline to submit a complete application is March 21st. The Selection Committee will review the applications from March-April. Finalists will move to the next round and receive remote interviews in late April/early June. The final decisions will be made in July and scholarships will be awarded shortly after.
Scholarship Details
- Merit-based scholarships ranging from $3,000 to $10,000
- Over $3.4 million awarded to more than 700 recipients since 2009
- Supports students aligned with ISF mission to improve public opinion and public policy
- Includes access to mentorships, internships, fellowships, and professional development
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an active member of the Muslim community
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or DACA recipient
- Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. university by August 2026 or employed full-time in an ISF supported field while enrolled part-time
- Must be majoring in an ISF supported field
- Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be an undergraduate incoming junior or senior, or a graduate or PhD student
- Ideal candidates demonstrate leadership, strong communication skills, and potential to impact public opinion
Application Process
- Two live informational webinars hosted with application judges on February 4th and March 4th
- Complete and submit the full scholarship application by March 21st
- Participate in finalist interviews if selected during late April through early June
