The Indiana High School Graduate Scholarship supports Indiana high school seniors who demonstrate strong academic achievement, community involvement, and a commitment to making a positive impact on society. Four $2,000 scholarships each will be awarded to high school seniors graduating from any Indiana high school who meet the criteria below.
Scholarship Details
- Four scholarships awarded annually
- Award amount: $2,000 each
- Open to Indiana students pursuing any field of study
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be graduating from an Indiana high school
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5
- Must demonstrate active involvement in community service, youth groups, academics, sports, religious activities, or other community engagement
- Must demonstrate good citizenship
- Must provide two recommendation letters:
- One from a high school faculty member or administrator
- One from a community leader
- Must submit a Statement of Intent describing plans to benefit the community and society
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application.
- Submit academic records verifying GPA.
- Provide details of extracurricular and community involvement.
- Submit two recommendation letters.
- Write and submit the Student’s Statement of Intent.
- Ensure all materials are submitted by the application deadline.
This Indiana High School Graduate scholarship grew out of the first educational efforts by Muslim women in the MSA and ISNA community in Plainfield, IN, in the early 1980's.
