The Jean L. Jensen Language Arts Scholarship provides financial support for graduates of Chaparral High School during their freshman year of college. The scholarship helps cover tuition and book expenses for students pursuing degrees in Language Arts and/or Education.
Scholarship Details
- Provides financial assistance for freshman-year tuition and books
- Established for graduates of Chaparral High School
- Application window is open from February 1st through April 1st
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a senior at Chaparral High School
- Must be pursuing a degree in Language Arts and/or Education
- Students pursuing Language Arts fields such as teaching, writing, and acting receive priority
- Must have maintained at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average
Application Process
- Create a login with the Harper County Community Foundation
- Complete the scholarship application during the application window
- Gather and attach all required application materials and supporting documents
- Submit the completed application and all attachments before 11:59 PM on April 1st
