Jhanae Sunflower Foundation Inc is committed to supporting the development of the future leaders of America. JSF provides programs and support programs based on education, mentoring, mental and physical health and youth involved in sports. JSF will continue to support youth and young adults striving to complete higher education and reaching their full potential in order to contribute positively to society.
Scholarship Details
- One undergraduate and one graduate scholarship awarded annually
- Scholarships support full-time enrollment at an accredited four-year institution
- Focus on leadership, character, and community service
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a high school senior, high school graduate, or GED holder entering college as a freshman in the coming academic year
- Must be enrolled full time at an accredited four-year college or university
- Must be a permanent resident of the United States
- Must be a resident of Florida
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale at the time of graduation
- Must have completed at least 75 hours of community service
- Must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, school administrator, counselor, employer, or church leader (not a relative or friend)
- Must submit a professional headshot
- Must provide an official high school transcript sent directly from the school
- Must submit a college acceptance letter, if applicable
Application Process
- Gather all required documentation, including transcript, recommendation letter, headshot, and acceptance letter
- Ensure your community service hours and GPA meet the eligibility requirements
- Request your high school to send your official transcript directly to JSF
- Submit your completed application along with all supporting materials before the posted deadline
