Women of any age, who are pursuing an accounting degree and demonstrate outstanding potential in the accounting field, are eligible to apply for the Jo Ann Rodriguez Memorial Scholarship. Applicants must reside in eligible California communities, be enrolled in an accounting program and have completed 12 units with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher. The number of recipients and the maximum dollar amounts will vary.
The following documents are required in the application package. Only typed applications will be accepted and considered: the official application; up to five sentences each for history and activities; an essay of up to 350 words; a Declaration of Applicant; a completed privacy policy and publicity authorization; verification of a current enrollment form signed by the college/registrar; and two recommendations from adults who are not related to the applicant.
