Scholarship Details
- Award amount is $1,000
- Applications are accepted from January 1st through April 15th each year
- Previous scholarship recipients may reapply in future years if they continue to meet the mandatory eligibility requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Be enrolled as an undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, or graduate student at a post-secondary educational institution in Kansas
- Be enrolled in coursework necessary to begin a career in a Geography-based profession
- Demonstrate that Geography or a Geography-related career is the major focus of their higher education goals
- A GPA of 3.25 or higher is desirable but not required
- Demonstrated financial need is also desirable but not necessary
Application Process

- Submit the completed scholarship application and supporting materials
- If selected, sign the Terms of Acceptance and provide proof of enrollment at a qualified post-secondary educational institution
- The scholarship winner will be notified by email
