The Joseph R. Calder, Jr., MD, Scholarship Fund supports current and aspiring medical professionals who are committed to careers focused on helping others. This scholarship is available to students pursuing a wide range of medical-related fields, including medicine, nursing, pharmacy, allied health, and other healthcare specialties.
Scholarship Details
- Supports students enrolled in part-time or full-time medical-related programs
- Eligible fields include medicine, nursing, pharmacy, allied health, and other healthcare specialties
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a current or aspiring medical professional from Lycoming County
- Must plan to dedicate a career to helping others through the medical profession
- Preference is given to students returning to school for additional education or first-time students who are not recent high school graduates
Application Process
- Confirm that you meet the scholarship eligibility requirements
- Obtain acceptance into a qualifying part-time or full-time medical-related program
- Complete the scholarship application and provide all required supporting materials
