The Jacksonville State University Foundation awards the Dr. James Reaves Memorial Scholarship annually to a deserving junior or senior JSU student. The JSU Foundation, through collaborative relationships with individuals, corporations, foundations, and other organizations, creates opportunities that will provide additional support to the students, programs, services, and educational community of Jacksonville State University. Dollar amounts for this scholarship will vary.
The Foundation will achieve its mission through image enhancement, effective asset management, entrepreneurial efforts, and development activities. The overall mission of the JSU Foundation is to maximize private gift support for Jacksonville State University while laying the groundwork for future fundraising success, in order to aid the University in fulfilling its own mission of excellence in education, research, and service.
