The Karis S. (Powell) Woodward, RN, Nursing Scholarship awards assistance annually to students who meet the following criteria: are entering at least the sophomore year of an accredited bachelor of nursing program; have a permanent address n an area served by Blanchard Valley Health System; have at least a 3.0 GPA; be enrolled in coursework for academic credit and count toward a degree in nursing; and exhibit good moral character.
The Karis S. (Powell) Woodward, RN, Nursing Scholarship is renewable upon receipt of application annually. This scholarship will not exceed $1,000 annually. Blanchard Valley Health System seeks to support and partner with area medical professionals and aspiring medical professionals through a variety of resources and educational opportunities. We value collaboration with our area medical staff, as well as other providers, and believe this is a cornerstone to providing patient-centered care.
