The Kenneth and Marcia Johnson Scholarship supports students who are graduates of a private or public high school or an accredited home school or cyber school program who resides in Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Tioga, Snyder, Sullivan, or Union County
Scholarship Details
- Open to students accepted into or currently enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate degree program or accredited technical or trade school
- Preference is given to students pursuing aviation careers, including aircraft and power plant mechanics, avionics technicians, pilot training, air traffic control or aeronautical engineering
- Scholarship recipients may reapply for up to three additional years
- If no aviation applicants apply in a given year, preference is given to graduating seniors from Lycoming County high schools
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a graduate of a public, private, accredited home school, or cyber school program located in Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Tioga, Snyder, Sullivan or Union County, Pennsylvania
- Demonstrate financial need
- Show a strong work ethic and participation in school or community activities
Application Process
- Confirm that you meet the residency, education, and enrollment requirements
- Gather documentation demonstrating your financial need, academic enrollment, and extracurricular or community involvement
- Complete the scholarship application and provide all required supporting materials
- Submit your application before the stated deadline
- If eligible, reapply in future years to be considered for renewal funding
If in any year there are no applicants who are pursuing a career in aviation, preference shall be given to a graduating senior from a Lycoming County high school.
