The Kimpact Foundation is offering two grants of $3,000 each to support individuals pursuing their passions or celebrating their resilience after surviving cancer. These grants aim to recognize individuals who exemplify passion or perseverance, encouraging them to continue making a positive impact in their communities.
Scholarship Details
- Two grants of $3,000 each
- Grants can be used at the recipient’s discretion
- Recipients will be featured on the Kimpact Foundation website and social media affiliates
- One grant for passion-driven projects
- One grant for cancer survivors or individuals nominating a cancer survivor
- Applicants may only apply for one grant
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia
- Must be 17 or older at the time of entry
- For the Passion Award:
- Enrolled in an accredited university for the current and/or coming school year
- Or a graduate paying back student loans
- For the Survivor Award:
- Applicant or nominee must be in complete remission from cancer
- Self-nominations and nominations of others are accepted
Application Process
- Choose one grant (Passion or Survivor) to apply for
- Respond to the appropriate prompt in essay, film, or recorded song/poetry form
- Essay: maximum of 500 words
- Film or recorded song/poetry: maximum of 5 minutes
- Email the submission with the following information in the body of the email:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Essay Choice #
- College information (if applicable)

- Submit applications between April 15th and August 24th
- Winners will be notified by September 24th
