The Lacek Group Scholarship supports students from underrepresented communities who are pursuing careers in marketing and related fields. To encourage students from underrepresented communities to consider a career in marketing, we award two $5,000 scholarships, one each for a high school senior and a college student. The area of study needs to be in or related to computer programming, creative arts, data/statistics, marketing, business, communications, finance, or program/project management.
Scholarship Details
- Two scholarships awarded annually
- $5,000 awarded to one high school senior and one college student
- Open to Minnesota residents attending college in Minnesota or Wisconsin
- Funds are distributed in two equal payments (September and January)
- Funds may be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies, equipment, and room and board
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a resident of Minnesota
- Must be a high school senior or current college student
- Must plan to attend college in Minnesota or Wisconsin
- Must be from an underrepresented community and demonstrate overcoming obstacles
- Must be enrolled or planning to enroll full-time (minimum 12 credits)
- Must be pursuing a major related to programming, creative arts, data/statistics, marketing, business, communications, finance, or project management
- Must be in good academic standing

- Complete the scholarship application form with accurate personal and academic information.
- Provide details about your background, academic achievements, and career goals.
- Application deadline is April 17th
