The Lely North America Future of Dairy Scholarship Program supports the next generation of leaders in the dairy industry by providing financial assistance to students pursuing agricultural and dairy-related careers. This year, Lely will award four $500 high school scholarships and two $1,500 college scholarships to deserving students who demonstrate a passion for contributing to the future of the dairy industry.
Scholarship Details
- Four one-time, non-renewable $500 high school scholarships
- Two one-time, non-renewable $1,500 college scholarships
- Open to legal residents of the United States or Canada
- Applicable to students pursuing degrees related to agriculture, dairy technology, automation, precision agriculture, and similar fields
Eligibility Criteria
- High school scholarships: High school seniors planning to pursue an agriculture-related degree at a two- or four-year college
- College scholarships: Current college students enrolled in an accredited institution pursuing degrees in:
- Dairy Technology – Degrees in robotics, automation, and/or precision agriculture with a focus on the dairy industry
- Dairy Industry – Agriculture degrees with a desire to work in the dairy industry
- Legal resident of the United States or Canada
Application Process
- Prepare a 1 to 2-page resume detailing leadership, organizational involvement, and work experience
- Obtain a letter of recommendation from an advisor, employer, 4H leader, or similar figure
- Write an essay explaining your passion for the dairy industry and how you plan to contribute to its future
- Submit your completed application and supporting documents by the specified deadline
