At Lenoir-Rhyne, we strive to make higher education as accessible as possible, recognizing that paying for college is a top concern for students and their families. Very few of our students pay the full tuition because we offer scholarships, financial aid, loans and payment plans. There are multiple ways that a Lenoir-Rhyne education can fit your family’s budget. Lenoir-Rhyne offers different types of scholarships, such as Lutheran awards.
The LR Scholars Program awards Lutheran students two awards, the Friends in Faith Program and the Martin Luther Fellows program. Friends in Faith is a matching gift program through which LR will match a scholarship of up to $500 received from an undergraduate student's Lutheran church. The Martin Luther Fellows are available exclusively for undergraduate North Carolina ELCA students with contributions to church and community. The exact amounts will vary.
